It was our first time in this restaurant and we were very intrigued by the menu. We followed our waiter’s recommendations and we ordered the summer rolls which were very fresh. Then we had the shrimps thermidor with pan’dan de Sal and these were the highlight of the diner. The sauce and the lobsters we ate were divine. Then we decided to try the rice cake. We are glad we tried it but it was not our favorite. For dessert we chose the mushroom with a chocolate mousse and a chanterelle ice cream! It was really really tasty. Overall we really enjoyed the food which was unique and very different. The presentation of each plate was like a painting in front of us. If you are looking for a unique and tasty food, I definitely recommend this place.

If you love tapas you can’t go wrong at Jaleo! There’s a huge range of hot, cold, meat, cheese, seafood, veggies, etc. The traditional shrimp & garlic is loaded with sweet (!) garlic slices, the octopus was grilled and tender, the gazpacho is silky (with crunchy “bread fingers”), the peas were delicious. We shared about 10 plates, and our waitress, Sylvia, was attentive but not hovering. It’s our 3rd visit and we’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had. Last year we had the chef’s tasting dinner and it’s a “must-do” - at least once!
